The Survey and the Film - Project 3 - The Fim

This was a pain in the... to encode and find out which file type to make it so that it doesn't stop 5 seconds before it was done encoding!!!!!!
I just wanted to go sit on the beach and have an ice-cream....
Took sooooooooo long haha

But was worth it... well... I really like the end product, so did the team =p

Here is the final product,

The Survey and the Film - Project 3 - Teaser

Boosted by the input of my group-members and their written responses as to how they felt in the different 16 sites I proceeded to create a teaser film.

This is my Youtube Channel btw...

After receiving some, not alot of feedback from the team I continued to fish around for ideas!

The Survey and the Film - Project 3

A1 brainstorming sheets done as a group

The 16 most important scenes withing the line, represented by their skylines.

Concentrating on the way the screen will be split in the different scenes and places

The finished A1 after brainstorming about how colour can be used in the film to represent emotions and the sites themselves. too technical in the end!

Again looking at coloured boxes which would of faded and flashed.

Personal sketches of possible screen grabs, how each site could be split

A few of the chosen 16 sites

The Survey and the Film - Project 3

Now this was hard work...
9 hours a day in those labs haha
I enjoyed it though, don't get me wrong  =p

Not really sure how to show all this work but here it is.

Scanned in experiments to show movement

Typographical experimentation to caprture key features of the specific space.

 Concentrating on shading

The Artist - Project Two

Looking for an inspirational artist was hard, but thankfully Jamie had helped us by providing us with a list =p
I chose Isamu Noguchi.

Without knowing I picked one of the coolest on the list, he inspired many others who were on the list =p

We had to present a A1 about our findings on his work, life and just about him.

The Line - Project One - Term Two

I began by looking at the map of the line on DigiMap and thought of ways to make an impactful presentation.
I didnt want to use colour, as i deduced from my trials (as seen above) and I wanted to be minimal but not too minimal =p
